Are there public list of homes prior to foreclosure and people interested in short sale?

I am looking for people interested in short sales for homes and I need a list of people who need their homes sold fast. Is there a public list that I can use to find people who really need help with this? Would the banks provide the information if I ask for addresses?

Yes, there is. Any real estate agent can get you a list of short sale houses, they are listed that way in the MLS. However, those are not going to be sold fast, short sales take a very long time because the bank has to get involved.

No the banks won’t provide the information and yes there is a list. The banks have to publish the foreclosure in the local papers legal notices section.
