Is there a way I can view data on home sales over the past ~100 years?

I’m looking at the difference in home sales during the depression and world wars. I’ve looked on the US census bureau website, however I could only find modern data. Does anyone know where else I could find this info.

If it’s not too much trouble, I would also like to find car sales or any other type of major item too, but this is not a must have.

Its truely amazing ! There has been at least 3 times more homes up for Sale in America these past few years. The only reasoning for this, is PEOPLE CAN’T AFFORD OBAMAS ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION! Gas! Food! Energy bills! Water Bills! No jobs!

Many people take their properties off the market for winter as moving in winter stinks. And not many buyers are out there stomping around in the snow to look. Therefore, rather than trying to keep the house market ready, they wait until spring.

Fortunately, we have a loving family that we will be living with until we stabilize. My credit score is now 709, 703, and 660. Should I expect it to drop much further? What is the wait time on approval for a conventional home loan after a short sale?

Your credit scores are already lower then that with the missed payments.

They shoudl drop another 200 points.

I’m looking for a home for sale that is a VA foreclosure home in the Rockport, TX, and surrounding areas.

Most might not be listed as VA foreclosures or HUD properties. You might google VA foreclosures/REO or HUD properties followed by Rockport, Texas to see what sites would appear. Check them out carefully.

They might simply list the properties as REO or foreclosure properties

There would be many sites listed, you would have to select the ones that best suit your needs and what you are seeking.

Watch out for those that would say trial subscription, these are pay sites.

How do you search for homes with Google Maps?

I used to use Google Maps in conjunction with other real estate websites to pinpoint where homes were located. Used to. Now, when I type in "Homes for Sale near xxxxx" or "xxxxx homes for sale" I get the locations of real estate businesses instead of homes like I used to. Why did this change, and is there a way to search differently?

Contact a real estate agent. If it is an existing home, it is sold just like a regular house. There are not a whole lot of them in the Chattanooga area, so you won’t find a large inventory of them for sale at once. Before you purchase one, be sure to talk with your insurance agent.

Find a Real estate agent or Real estate brokerage company in your area that allows you to search MLS listings through their website. Then, when you do the search, just check the box to include manufactured homes and uncheck the box to include single family homes.
