I want to live ALONE. With my dog. I want a single bedroom single bathroom house not an apartment because I don’t want to be that close to other people. Are these homes harder to find?
It will depend on where you are. 1 bedroom/1 bath though will be hard to find pretty much anywhere. You’d have much better luck with a 2 bedroom/1 bath. Those will most likely be older homes.
I also have at least 10 on the market, in my neighborhood. Most are foreclosures or short sales, selling for $75,000 to $100,000 less than for what they sold for 5 yrs ago. (Chicago burbs)
On my street, which is about 200-300 yards long, 6 or 7. Not a very big street and it’s a small town.
I just want to copy pictures of real estate from other websites and post them on my blog. I just want to show users some of the homes in my area that I like. Is this legal? Do I have to contact the owners of the homes or the website that I’m copying them from to get permission first? Thanks for any help.
I would think you would need to get permission from the owner of the photo which most likely be the website you spoke of.

I’ve found that realtors don’t divulge this information easily, but if you contact the Town Hall in the city or town you are interested in, they will give you a list. I got one and they even mailed it to me!
I have had an interest in Real Estate for some time now and am finally going to start pursuing it as a career. I watched these real estate shows where the agents are selling high end property and wondered to myself how did they transition from regular residential homes to high end property and commercial units?
They established themselves, networked, may have had contacts before they even were in the business and work their butts off.
It isn’t like you get your license and suddenly you are getting owners in the Hollywood Hills to trust you can market and sell their property. You are going to need a track record. That takes time.

My grandparents are selling their house.
1) the real estate agent (who is also an investor) told my them they couldn’t sell their house for what they wanted. The other houses next door (literally) are going for 245,500-300,000 and my grandparents wanted to sell for 225,000. He said that no one will pay that price given the economy,. We def know different. We know the people in the neighborhood.
2) my grandparents settled to sell their house for 199,000. They lowered it for 1 couple to 195,000. Then we go see on his (Realtor) website later (months) that he changed the price of the house to $195,000, and we also saw this on other websites with current home listings for sale.
can we sue him for lowering it without notification, or is he entitled to do that once we go down on price for someone. Obviously the house is still up for sale; and I am wondering what we can do.
He seems a little shady to us, this is their first house they are selling.
All of the appliances are up-to-date sheesh…better than mines. They have the money for it all. So when i do say my grandparents house please dont think they are extremely old with walkers and canes. They are far from that and are in better health (thank god) than a lot of people their age. Their house is pretty modren and the love it.
And the house has had offers in fact tons, but its not what they want. They are going to take if off the market and might just end up passing it to a grandchild right now. But It’s in a great part of town less than 5 minutes away from the downtown Austin scene.
Well obviously I CAN’T SUE its my grandparents. I am just trying to see if there is anything there or just get a new agent or take it off the market.

As with any legal case, you need to be able to prove your position. While I agree it does sound like the Realtor did keep your grandparents best interests in mind, you may have a hard time proving that in court. But yes to answer your question, you can sue your Realtor.
